The Ergonomix system works according to the principle of two communi-cating
containers. One cotainer is situated in the pump (e.g. under the table)
and the other, the cylinder, is situated in/on the table leg. The containers are
connected with a plastic hose.
When the table/product shall be raised the right amount of oil is simply pus-hed
out of the container in the pump, through the plastic hose and into the
cylinder that is situated in e.g. the table leg and the table/product is pushed
up. When the table/product shall be lowered a negative pressure is created
in the pump by pulling back the piston. The oil in the cylinder is thereby pus-hed
back through the hose by the positive pressure that is created by the
weight of the table/product.

Pump and cylinders are designed for use in normal industrial/office environ-ment.
The pump is supplied with electric motor or hand crank. The system
is not designed for continuous "non-stop" use. The system is single acting
and the return stroke requires a min. 5 - 10 kg of external force per cylinder
(depending on tube length). Pump and cylinders are connected with a 4,5
mm (OD) plastic tube with a min. bending radius of 30 mm. The difference in
lenght between the shortest and the longest tube should not exceed the 3:1
ratio (i.e. if the longest tube is 6 m the shortest tube should not be less then
2 m).
Temperature range: In use from 0° to +45° C.
Transportation from -20° to +60° C.
